Black River Systems continues to serve as as active member of the GMTI standard format STANAG 4607
working group. Our responsibilies included development of the baseline source code of the standards
library. Most recently, we have developed a Microsoft .NET version as well.
The goal of the STANAG effort was to bring together members of the GMTI community and create a standard
data storage and distribution format to facilitate interoperability. The standard contains wide
support for GMTI producers and is built upon a bandwidth efficient architecture.
The standard C library also contains source code for data translation between STANAG 4607 and
NATOEX 2.1.
